Smoking Policy
Lawai Beach Resort has adopted Hawaii's "Smoke Free Law". Smoking is prohibited in all areas on the grounds of Lawai Beach Resort, including without limitation:
1) All open area such as the parking areas, lawn area and the swimming pool areas;
2) All enclosed areas and all partially enclosed area, including without limitation all lanais. You may smoke in the designated areas throughout the property.

Rental Car
It is recommended that you rent a car during your stay. There is limited bus service available every couple of hours and there is a small grocery store within 1.5 miles. However, most of the stores, restaurants and sights of the island are spread out geographically.

Thrifty Car Rental (CDP: 3040995) and Dollar Car Rental (CDP: 3026149) offer special rates for Lawai Beach Resort owners and guests.
State Tax
There is a daily accommodation tax for all occupants of a timeshare unit. This tax was imposed by the Hawaii Legislature and went into effect on January 1, 1999.
